Where is Lambeth?
Formerly known as the Town of Westminster, Lambeth was annexed and became part of the City of London in the early 90s. As of 2011, Lambeth has a population of around 4,000 residents, giving it that small-town feel. The main street is lined with local businesses and restaurants, including Spicer’s Bakery, and Millar Berry Farm - sure to become a family favourite.
Living in Lambeth
Lambeth is primarily made up of single family detached homes from all eras. Some homes date back as far as the early 1900s, and new developments to the neighbourhood continue today, creating the perfect blend of old and new. Being located directly north of the 402 is a major benefit to living in Lambeth, especially for those who commute or travel on the highway frequently.
There is one elementary school in the neighbourhood, Lambeth Public School. Students can also attend St. George in the adjacent neighbourhood of Byron. As for secondary school, most high school students attend Saunders (10 minute drive) or St. Thomas Aquinas (11 minute drive).
Socio-economically, the average income of Lambeth residents is around $40,000, and 93% of the residents are homeowners.

Recreation
The Lambeth Community Centre is always buzzing with activity. For the winter months, enjoy public skating and hockey games at the arena as a participant, or as a spectator from the heated viewing area. You can rent out a community room or the gymnasium for your events as well. In the warmer weather, enjoy the playground and ample outdoor space. The community centre is also home to the Lambeth branch of the London Public Library.
Visit one of the three parks this community has to offer, and take advantage of splash pads, soccer fields, baseball diamonds, and playground equipment. A quick zip down Colonel Talbot Road will land you in picturesque Springbank Park.
Each fall, Lambeth residents join in an annual celebration called Harvestfest. This four day event typically takes place the weekend after labour day, Past events have included a baseball tournament, parades, food, live music, and more. There is no better celebration to bring this tight knit community together!
